With the help of Suffolk Community College, other students their age, and other caring adults, the students worked to develop a series of public service announcements (PSAs) on these topics. 

The project is entitled, “High School Students ‘Speak Up and Speak Out’ About Today’s Timely Issues.”  You can find out more about this amazing project by clicking here.

The PSAs  below were recorded over the summer and will ultimately be shared by the Smithtown Youth Bureau, on local radio stations such as WALK FM, on various Social Media outlets, and the Internet. Their story, along with the PSAs, have already been highlighted in “Social Justice Solutions,” an online publication for Social Workers.
