Happy Friday William T. Rogers Learning Community,

After a week full of anticipation, here we are. We’ve spent the last several days preparing for what could be a significant snowstorm; but if there’s one thing I’ve learned in my time on this earth, it’s that Mother Nature loves to keep us guessing.

As for my own plan: I’m aiming to get everything done early Saturday morning, check off kids’ sports, celebrate my son’s birthday party, and wrap it all up by early Saturday evening so we’re ready for whatever Sunday decides to bring our way. And honestly, that’s the same approach we’re taking as a school; planning carefully, staying flexible, and being ready to adjust as needed.

The reason I’m sharing this is simple: everything is unpredictable right now. I truly wish I could provide definitive details about what Monday will look like and how midterms may be impacted, but at this point, all I can responsibly share are the possible scenarios outlined below.

I do ask that students set aside some time this weekend to prepare. I will send a follow-up message Sunday afternoon or evening with more concrete information once we have a clearer picture.
