Dear Kings Park Community,

You might recall that about four years ago the school district collaborated with KP Salutes (made up of members of the Kings Park Community) to create a Field of Honor – over 300 American Flags that are flown in front of Kings Park High School along 25A for 9/11, Veterans Day, and Memorial Day.  

We will be placing the flags for September 11th on Wednesday, September 10th at 3:00 p.m.  As the adage goes, “many hands make light work.”  If we have volunteers, the flag placement will take less than an hour.   All students and community members are welcome to assist.  We will assemble at 3pm by the flagpole in front of Kings Park High School.   Students can earn service credit for their participation.
